Government support to Pakistani women entrepreneurs during the COVID-19 pandemic

Purpose Under the unique context of COVID-19, this paper aims to analyze how Government Pakistan (GoP) provides financial and non-financial support women entrepreneurs in Pakistan. Drawing on resource-based theory entrepreneurship (RBTE), study advances understanding resources grants offered by GoP help them business survival. Design/methodology/approach The adopts qualitative research method address questions: does Pakistani government respond issues faced during COVID-19 pandemic, what assistance initiatives were implemented GoP? Semi-structured interviews conducted with twenty on-job officials related entrepreneurial sector Findings reveals that keenly communicated representatives comprehend their challenges. In addition, waivers incentives provided activities. further invited contribute knowledge give suggestions policy making. Originality/value Lots have been identify pandemic. However, specific strategies, policies, governments these often overlooked. This fills such gap focus governing bodies policymakers towards crisis.
